Here’s what two of our scholars had to say about their journey to this achievement:

Preparing for such an accomplishment takes dedication, strategy, and perseverance. Marina Mabin shared that balancing preparation with extracurriculars was key: “When preparing for the PSAT, I tried not to put my extracurriculars and school aside because neglecting the rest of my responsibilities tends to put me in a bad headspace. I would say if you're really busy, make time everyday to do at least a couple practice problems here and there!”

Isaiah Mosley-Aviles emphasized the importance of pacing yourself and treating the PSAT as a stepping stone: “I would let students know to take it one step at a time. The PSAT is a good benchmark and it's okay not to feel amazing about your score. It'll only make you get an even better score on the SAT!”

Congratulations again to these National Merit scholars for their hard work and success. They serve as an inspiration to the entire Franklin High School community!
